DescriptionThis was a big one for me, I reached out to Kelley Jones in early 2015 about a commission when the opportunity arose. I was thrilled to get him to do something. He was excited about it, he told me this was the first time he drew the small Bat ears. Shortly later the Dark knight returns 3 was solicited and I was just a little ahead of the resurgence into the third sequel along with all the cool new art that came from that series…Anyhow, this is one of my favorites Oh! Im also looking for Alien Hive art if anyone has any please reach out! Social/Sharing |

It's Miller-esque as Kelley's Batman is normally long eared.

The artist's trademark heavy shadows suits the subject matter perfectly, & gives us a bit of a glimpse of what The Dark Knight Returns would look like if done in the style of Sin City. Congrats!
