Description

A 1987 seascape. This painting actually started as a landscape, and then evolved into this quintessential image of a storm brewing over the ocean. Jeffrey's early landscapes give the sense of exploring the possibilities of landscape painting with a vision of the subject that is every bit as moody and compelling as a female figure study. Oil on linen, 28" x 24".
