DescriptionTo say I own this piece is stunning to me! I've been trying to obtain an Adam Hughes piece for a few years and it just never worked out. Finally, at the 2009 Pittsburgh Con, with help from my friends, was I able to get this beauty!I wasn't able to make it out to Pittsburgh on the first day but my good friends Jay and Maddie were at the show. They more than gracious enough to plunk my name and character down on Adam's commission list: Harley Quinn, no mask, with her hair in pigtails. They waited in line and were near the end, too. After about 40 minutes of waiting, my name was on the list. I stopped by the next day and said hi to Adam and asked about the odds of my sketch. He asked which one and when I said Harley, he said I was next! I stopped by evey few hours to chat with Allison (who is awesome!) and check on the sketch. Unfortunately, Adam was busy most of Saturday and didn't have a chance to get to Harley. Allison assured me it would happen on Sunday and sure enough, I walked in the next morning and saw Adam putting the finishing touches on Harley. Stunning! UPDATE: Overjoyed to see Harley published in Adam's new sketchbook, "Slayboy." Another round of thanks to both Adam and Allison!! I love the pose, the angle, the hammer, Harley's face, the detail, everything! I could go on and on! Thank you so, so much to Adam and Allison and a huge thank you to Jay and Maddie, without whom this wouldn't have happened! Thank you!!! Social/Sharing |

Adam's use of Copic markers is unmatched, this is an outstanding piece! Congrats!

Love it, especially the motion of her hair and cap! Even without red, Adam's work with markers looks great! I would have thought this was one of Adam's rare commissions, not just a "sketch"!

Actually; I'm going to nit-pick and say this is officially a "sketch" and not a commission. Sketches are done at shows, commissions from Adam's studio at home. Regardless, its one of the nicest Harleys I've seen Adam do; I'm in love with that face!!!! Congrats, and it was nice seeing you at Pittsburgh.

Hate to be a jerk but Allison is right. I think that this is a GREAT sketch but not a commission. I don't event want to think about how much an acual commission costs. This is a great piece to have in your collection
