Description

This is the earliest piece of Mignola art that I have ever had the good fortune of coming across dating back to 1982. It's of the monster pack the Creature Commandos no less. This very early Mignola piece has got it all...Frankenstein, Dracula, the Werewolf, and even a gratuitous Medusa lurking in the shadows. It was a must have for me and I am so happy I was able to add this piece to my collection. Does anyone know if this was published in one of the earlier fanzines or guides? Thanks for any help you can be fellow CAFers!!! :)

I doubt Mike would have done the piece if it weren't for publication, but unfortunately I can't confirm that for sure. Very nice pickup!

Oh man! It's AWESOME that you got this buddy! I can't believe I ever let it go! But I think at the time I was so obsessed with his late 80's stuff that I decided this was just a little TOO early for me. I sure do miss it though. Especially seeing it now in your gallery. By the way, that signature down at the bottom? I got him to sign that. Anyway, congrats! Glad the piece found a good home!
