From the great John Byrne - it's the Mighty Crusaders!

Specifically, it's the Fly, the Shield, Comet, Jaguar and the Black Hood vs. Kang the Conqueror! I'd asked JB to do a Thunder Agents piece for a while ago and when I saw just how great it turned out I knew that I wanted to ask him to do the Crusaders too. Loved them both as a teen and Byrne's been my favorite art for just as long. I love the angry look on Kang's face and just the great visual of the Black Hood having to climb up to get him. The sense of Jaguar dangling is great. And Kirby crackle makes everything better : )

Holy -- I don't think I've ever seen Byrne draw the Mighty Crusaders. Leave it to Mr. Moorhead to pull off an unprecedented piece like this!

What I like most about this one is how unique it is. What mystifies me however, is the amount of background Byrne was able to put into it despite the number of characters. AMAZING
