Description

An unpublished pin up commission by Diego Bernard, from the Ed Benes Studio, 11x17" on bristol.

I don't usually buy unpublished art other than convention sketches, but this one was tough to resist. I didn't commission it myself, it was for sale on the ComiConArt website, but it prompted me to sign up for a couple of commissions that I hope to post later when they're in hand.

I have mixed views on commissioning pieces... it seems like the ideal way to get exactly what you want, but unfortunately, the end result is often disappointing, or worse yet, the artist turns to be unable to look at it as 'real' work, and never gets around to doing it.

A beautiful piece!! I hear your comment about commissions, but when one does come out right, boy is it worth it!! This is a prime example.

Not to say that you can't dabble in both once in a while? Good luck with your other commissions. This is AWESOME!!
