Description

This was the figure color study for the 1st issue cover to the new B&W Vampi magazine...Tex painted a beautiful pinup style cover and the the editor asked him to add a background..Tex then repainted the entire figure/ with added background-[a new painting].I saw this hanging on his drawing board and when we went to Wonder-Con I was the 1st in line to buy it..Mark looked at me like I was crazy, he took the money though..but I liked it when I first saw it..and I like it now! Thanks Mark!

I have never seen the published piece but I think I would prefer this one. A background would be to distracting. Remember the saying...less is more. Nice pickup Michael.
