Picked up this nice piece at the Sunday Heroes auction. It fits right in my collection. I guess I never thought about it before but Magik & Amethyst are similar characters.

Having never read the Magik miniseries from 1983, I wiki'd it - and YEAH, another copycat!!! I had no idea. Thanks for sharing a great piece of art & a history lesson :D

Blond with bangs, check... magical ability, check... teleporting, check... changing age through worlds, sorta check... although Illyana was first brought up in 1975 she gained magic in 1983, the same year Amethyst was created... hmmm... I adore both characters though :) Love this piece!
