Description"TWO RED DEVILS AND A MANTHING" - Frank BrunnerI asked Frank to do something with Daredevil and gave him a few other characters that I would like to see and he blew me away with this. Man-Thing is under the spell of Mephisto who is sitting on his throne made out of a knarled tree. You'll also see the Demon Vulture next to Mephisto and an Alligator ready to take a bite out of DD. It's not just the characters Frank does great but the backgrounds alone are excellent and very enjoyable to me. The media type is actually Ink & Ink Wash. The size is 14X19. I think this would be an awesome story and piece to be Published. Please visit FrankBrunner.net to see more of his great work. Thank you Frank! Social/Sharing |

A great choice of characters for this piece, as it's not often you'll see DD in a swamp setting. Mephisto is a nice nod to previous DD stories, and Man-Thing and DD look dynamic. Brunner excels in detailed backgrounds, and that shows with this piece here - he did a great job inking the nighttime swamp setting. An Excellent Addition!

Beautiful setting, love the extra creatures that Frank included! Nice to see DD out of his element, he might be outmatched this time!

Thanks guys, I'm really loving this piece and I do think they can make a good story with these 3 characters. It's been awhile since Man-Thing and Memphisto appeared with DD.

Outstanding commission my friend. Brings back fond memories for me when DD and Man-Thing met up in issue #113 way back in the bronze-age. Frank Brunner is an awesome artist.

I'd heard Frank was shying away from commissions recently, but I bet he jumped all over this idea when presented to him. It shows he enjoyed himself in the amount of detail. Frank is a genius. Congrats!

How is this piece not published?...its been quite some time since DD met Man-Thing and hasn't battled Mephisto since the Romita Jr run. A commission favorite for me, Wow!!
