St. Louis Project Comic-Con 2010
I only made it for the 2nd half of the show, but still had a great time. I got to sit next to Rick Burchett, ask him a billion questions and hear some of his awesome stories. Got to hang out with/get a great sketch from rising superstar Kyle Strahm, got to meet and talk movies with Howard Chaykin, got on Kenneth Rocafort's sketch list but he didn't have time to finish it, so he's taking it home to mail to me later. Bebopped with the legendary jazz/comic trio Phil Hester, Ande Parks and Aaron Gillespie. Shanghaied Filipe Sablik, Top Cow Publisher and awesome guy. Saw new amazing Voltron artwork by/chatted about Venture Bros season 4.2 with Joplin artist Amber Stone and her husband Daniel. Met cool fellow CAFer and Tulsan Jeffrey Bennett. Can't wait to do it again next year!
