Miniatures...

Many years go I delved into painting miniatures, in oils, and I enjoyed it quite a bit. I’ll be posting a variety of different subjects in this gallery over time. Painting in a very small, detailed, scale can be very intense. Certain areas only an inch and a half in dimension can take most of a standard working day. In the end they are meant to be viewed up close and personal. There is also a texture to these that unfortunately doesn’t translate over and through the internet.
