This one is a stretch..but I developed a process for doing color in the mold for fiberglass work. That application worked very well for Captain America's shield and various styles. Alex Ross contacted me in 1998 and commissioned one (he's used it in his paintings since). I figure that puts it in the grey area of art. All of the color is gel coat applied in reverse before being composited.
