Josh Howard Pre-Code Cover Recreations
I really love the covers to the Pre-code horror comics of the 50s so what would make the covers better? Having my favorite artist recreate them of course.
The first piece that I commissioned Josh to do was the cover to "City of The Living Dead" since I thought that cover would look great in Josh's style.
Well he totally owned the first piece so I went looking for another cover I would like to see him redo.
For the second piece I decided to have him redo Mister Mystery #16 which is definitely one of the best Mummy covers. Once again Josh blew my expectations away with this piece.
The third piece I decided I would like to see Josh recreate is the classic cover of Venus #19. The piece is outstanding just like the previous pieces are.
