Iron Man 1, 2 & 3 Movie Story Boards, Conceptual Art & Animatics
These drawings were used during the storyboarding process for the production of the three Iron Man movies, with many of the pieces being reproduced in the "Art of . . . " movie specific coffee table books. Regarding the animatics, the images these days are scanned by the production team and overlayed over the drawn backgrounds on computer, just like the animation process. This allows the director to not only have a better visualization of the scene but allows for easier manipuation of the images. The actual animatic featuring the Iron Man 2 Monaco scene can be seen in its entirety on a special feature on the Iron Man 2 disc in the Marvel Phase One blu-ray boxed set.
