Ware, Chris
Né à Omaha (Nebraska), en 1967, il créé son propre label : The Acme Novelty Library. Chris Ware confère au monde de l'absurde et du déguingandé des 70's, une attention toute particulière. Il sort en 2002, Jimmy Corrigan, personnage et aventures créés lors de ses années universitaires, dont l'histoire est semi-autobiographique. Cette série a été unanimement saluée par la presse et récompensée par de nombreux prix. D’abord comics culte, Jimmy Corrigan est désormais un best-seller aux États-Unis, depuis la parution de l’intégrale (BDGest).
