Lippert, Anni

Cartoonist Anni Lippert (born April 10, 1928) is one of Denmarks best and most popular pin-up artists, known for her humourous drawings for Hudibras magazine and weekly gossip magazine Se og Hor. She grew up as the daughter of artist Aage Lippert and later worked at an advertising agency. From 1962 to 1965 she lived in Paris and sold her drawings to French magazines. Once asked to work for American Playboy magazine, Anni Lippert turned down the offer, stating that she would not make her drawings naughtier! Anni Lippert now lives in Lyngby, Denmark, where she enjoys painting and drawing in the company of his grandchildren.
