"Not as Glamorous as it Looks!" postal related Niblos!

This marks the seventh year my strip "Not as Glamorous as it looks!" has been published in the Noth Carolina Letter Carrier newspaper with a circulation of over 5,000. It is also a great stress reliever and helps me improve my chops. I must say it has made me a better inker over the years and actually have two of my original pieces in the worlds largest Sherlock Holmes collection among the likes of Charles Schulz, Jack Davis, Will Eisner just to name a few. It's always a great surprise to have a complete stranger walk up and ask, "Hey, aren't you Nilbos?" People have asked over the years, "So where does your nickname Niblos! come from?" Actually, it's taken from a line by Isabella Rossellini in David Lynch's classic, "Blue Velvet". Over time, the scene was twisted by my silly sister-in-law and me, it eventually turned into Niblos! That same name would follow me through my band days and finally become my pen name for my postal strip. I take great pride in every strip and hope to collect enough material to one day produce a book. My strip won BEST CARTOON 2006-2008 in a national competition and have appeared in several other papers nationally.
