Wallace Wood proved himself one of the most talented and hard-working artists of the Silver Age. From 1970-74 he wrote and drew CANNON, an adventure strip designed for a weekly newspaper distributed exclusively to military bases. CANNON is a dehumanized killer "wet-works" agent for the US government, and most of his adventures were spiced with beautiful, busty women, hard drinking men, fast cars, big guns and a supreme knack for the manly art of self-defense. The strip was drawn on two boards, each with an image area measuring approx 11" x 17".
