Wallace Wood: Cannon Comic Strip #C-37 (Wood and Richter, 1972). As agents Madam Toy and Sue Stevens embark on their mission together, Sue discloses her unusual Russian upbringing, in this thought-provoking episode from Wallace Wood's military newspaper adventure strip. The art is on two pieces of bristol; the top half has an image area of approximately 17" x 12.5", while the bottom half measures 17" x 10.25".

I LOVE this! Not only is there not a single boob, but Cannon himself appears nowhere in this strip. How unusual is that? Lars, it's so cool that you picked up the origin of Sue Smith, which dovetails consecutively right into the Madame Toy origin story page, "my" C-38. This strip is almost equally beautiful, with some of Wood's finest '70s drawing between the two pages. (Yes, I guess I'm a little biased, but I'd be thrilled to own this and I'm sure you are too.) :-) Congratulations, this is prime!
