From character and costume design to the supporting cast and creation of Planet Sakaar, the combination of a great script written by Greg Pak and incredible art from Carlo Pagulayan, Aaron Lopresti and Gary Frank, has made this my favorite Hulk storyline of all time. In Planet Hulk, we witnessed the first appearance of Caiera, Hulk's nemesis who later became his beloved queen, and the Warbound, including Korg, Hiroim the Shamed, Miek, Elloe and No-Name. It also features the appearance of another of my favorite characters - the Silver Surfer in a short, but epic battle. Hulk rises from slave to insurgent to King but in the end, his story, as always, remains tragic. And someone always ends up paying.
