The Mighty Thor is a fan-favorite because of the way mythology was updated for modern times. Jack Kirby's characters and costume designs were first-rate and the title was one of his greatest achievements. Others carried on the tradition for decades and the New Gods also grew out of the title's concepts. I love the later pages inked by Joe Sinnott.
