With the cost of prime Marvel Age art going into the stratosphere, many fans have embraced the re-creation trend. I've recently joined their ranks. Bruce McCorkindale's re-creations of the Kirby-Sinnott and Kirby-Royer masterworks are stunning. His FF 100 cover re-creation is drop-dead perfect. I bought several of these tributes on the secondary market, but I have commissioned Bruce to draw some of my favorites so this gallery will be expanding soon. I used to turn up my nose at re-creations and then when I started collecting Marvel superhero art I realized that I could never afford a prime piece.
