Setting the Standard in Comics! - Covers
These are cover commissions featuring Golden Age (and my own original) characters based on the central theme that they never became obscure public domain (PD) characters. Instead, I'm "pretending" that a company (I'm using the logo for Better/Standard/Nedor's "Standard Comics" imprint on any cover recreations) bought up all those characters and continued to publish them since the 1940s.
So, in North America, there wouldn't have just been DC and Marvel, but DC and Marvel and Standard. Just helps tie things together (I hope).
