Eric Orchard

I met Eric at TCAF 2014. We had never met before and I don't recall ever having seen his art or his name before. That is the beauty of conventions with an eye for new talent. We met and I was happy to find some art in his portfolio that he was willing to trust me with. We have since gone out to hang out for a day and I have added a few more pieces to my collection by Eric and have a few more in the works. I figured it was enough to warrant a gallery on its own.

There are a lot of influences in his work from Herriman and Gorey to Miyazaki and Sendak yet everything is uniquely in Eric's style and his demeanor comes across in his work too. I think his work is great and I hope he has a quick rise to fame and fortune in this field.
