When I was a kid, there was GI Joe, Star Wars, Indiana Jones and Transformers. While the late 30's and the 40's gave the world Superman, Batman and Captain America, the 60's gave us Spider-man, the Avengers, the Fantastic Four and the X-Men, the late 70's and early 80's gave us GI Joe, Star Wars, Indiana Jones and the Transformers. When I first started reading comics I was mesmerized by the fact that they made comics books that continued the exploits of what saw in the Movies or in the case of GI Joe and Transformers, that my toys actually had a story.
