Ralph Reese is an artist that I first discovered in the black and white comic magazines of the 1970's. His rendition of Solomon Kane defined what the character looked like in my mind for years to come. He has done a multitude of other genres and books. I was lucky enough to meet him a number of months back after some correspondence. He was a nice guy, and I hope to know him for a long time.
