Bruce Timm rocks. His drawing style has been a major influence on the comic book industry ever since the first season of the Batman animated series. The succeess and recognition given to the animated series gifted the editors at DC with the courage to occassionally go with a fun animated style helping open the door to wider variety of acceptable art styles in today's comic book industry. Bruce's legendary fan skeches started appearing at comic cons sometime in the late 1990s. Anyone remember exactly when seeing new Bruce Timm's sketches became a convention standard?
