- Olivier Coipel is a French comic book artist known for his work on books such as House of M, Legion of Super-Heroes andThor. His most prominent work is probably his stint on Marvel's Thor comic. With clean compositions and unusual attention to detail, Olivier represents the French habit of ensuring that the emotional information in a panel is communicated as effectively as the physical. He was named in 2005 as one of Marvel's "Young Guns, a group of artists that included Jim Cheung and David Finch. He was then described by Marvel Editor-In-Chief as being one of very few who has the qualities that make a future superstar penciller. He is now one of the most influent artist and is often described as as book artist who has set the world of comic books on fire.
