US Postal Service Stamps and First Day cover for Comic Strip Classics
In 1995, the USPS put out a set of 20 stamps honoring classic newspaper comic strips. Below are scans of the stamps as well as two series of first day covers put out by 2 different vendors. I don't know how the first day covers came to be or if they are officially associated with the USPS but cool none the less. I scanned them all but was to lazy to crop each individually so you will see more than one in an image and not all in proper orientation.
