I've grown up admiring the work of Scottish comic book artist Ian Kennedy. In a long career he's done just about everything, from girls' weeklies to Judge Dredd, but it's his aviation subjects that are my favourites. He has painted more than a thousand Commando covers and was still painting one or two a month up until his passing in early 2022.
