These are pieces I've been commissioning on those "Blank Variant" Comic Book Sketch Covers, some I get CGC'ed others I don't or didn't. I like the way they look in the CGC slab, almost like a picture frame, plus if I can get the Yellow Label SS, it has all of the provenance of the artist's name and the original date along with any other details from a respected 3rd party authentication "witness" system. Personally, I don't put much weight on the "Grade" of any CGC Graded Sketch Covers, since the foreground is the quality of the artwork and the background to the value is the condition. By quality of the artwork, I consider that the name of the artist and the aesthetics of the rendering. I think inherently if an artist manhandles a book in the process of knocking-it-out-of-the-ballpark with an awesome sketch, causing a low grade, I'd rather have that then a weak sketch by an unknown artist garnering a high condition grade.
