Task Force X
John Ostrander's reinvention of the Suicide Squad in the mid 1980s (spinning out of the Legends crossover event) made an indelible and lasting mark, not only on comics but on pop culture on a larger scale. His vision of the Suicide Squad, AKA Task Force X, has crossed over into mainstream entertainment in the form of its own movie and turns in animation and live-action TV as well. I've long been a fan of the concept and storytelling, and that's reflected in my collection of original comic art.
