Manga
I've heard that manga is difficult to obtain. Why is that? Do Japanese publishers return the original art to the creators? Maybe they only return some of it? Do many Japanese creators just prefer to keep their work? Are there contractual agreements that prevent personal art sales of published works for a certain amount of time? I don't know, but there definitely are available pieces out there. Maybe it's difficult to find the newer, mega popular stuff, but I've seen a few pieces around.
