Osamu Tezuka - God of Manga

I finally have enough art by my hero and god of all things manga/anime, Osamu Tezuka. I had known about Astroboy for decades but it wasn't until I dove into the world of manga that I began to understand the importance of Tezuka-san. There would be no equivalent of this in either Europe or North America in terms of influence and innovation. Perhaps if you put Caniff, Kirby, McCay, Eisner and Chuck Jones together you would have an equivalent. He basically reinvented Manga and created anime and his style and approach to story telling and layouts formed the foundation of everything that has come since. I'll stop with heaping on the reverence and admiration I feel for this manga-ka and show you the few pieces I have scraped together including a very expensive forgery. Some of these pieces were in my other CAF galleries in the past and have now migrated here. I'll add a few pictures from the Angouleme Tezuka exhibition they had a few years ago that opened my eyes even wider to how truly innovative Tezuka-sensei was in creating the visual language and vocabulary of manga.
