Thomas Ascott, “Most Have Birds”

March 30th – April 28th, 2024 Haven Gallery is pleased to present “Most Have Birds”, a collection of works by Florida based artist, Thomas Ascott. “Most Have Birds” is Ascott’s second show at the gallery and features nine new works following his animal and youthful protagonists embarking on tranquil meanderings throughout verdant forests. The symbology of birds and their freedom resonates with Ascott’s sitters as they flock, play and create in a world full of magic and mystery without the constraints of society. Nostalgia and wonder pervade each narrative as we lose ourselves amongst imaginative yet relatable worlds harking back to memories of yore.
