Russell Keaton - Skyroads and Flyin' Jenny

I love aviation comic strips. One of my favorite themes in comic strips and so I might have a disproportionate amount of these. I did just create an Aviation Strip Art gallery in CAF but some series like Tailspin Tommy and Terry and Pirates I have too many to include in that gallery and the same now goes for Russell Keaton's art. I"ve included several pieces ghosted by others under Keaton's signature. Keaton got his start assisting Dick Calkins on Buck Rogers and Skyroads in 1929. He later took over the Buck Rogers Sundays and later went on to create his own aviation strip Flyin' Jenny. Keaton got a pilot's license and had a bright future which ended at age 35 from a sudden unexpected early death.
