Miki Ibara (1928-) Miki Thorn is one of the few jijiga mangaka who combined period drama with horror and continued the path of horror long after rental manga was replaced by mangazines... Miki was one of the protagonists of 'Skylark Books' Not only did he draw some great graphic novels, he also published several horror books at 'Hibari Shobo' His colleague & good friend Shigeru Mizuki's drew a mangaka named "Ibaramichi" who was modeled after him in "Comic Showa History".
