Virgil Ross
I discovered the art of Virgil Ross about 10 years ago, when I visited a friend and saw a stunning illustration of the Grinch and Cindy Lou Who! For those unfamiliar with this artist, he was one of Warner Brothers' chief animators and illustrators during the Chuck Jones era on Looney Tunes and other projects in the 1950s and 1960s. Upon being introduced to this artwork, I was immediately hooked. Since then, I have built a collection of Virgil Ross illustrations, mostly from my favorite Chuck Jones stories.
