I never really set out to get Newspaper strips. I grew up in California in the early 80’s and absolutely loved Garfield by Jim Davis and when back in England I had an immense love of the single panel cartoons by Carl Giles. To me the greatest newspaper comic strip of all time is Calvin and Hobbes but I don’t think I will ever be lucky enough to own one of those. Jeff Hawke by Sydney Jordan is a favourite also. I would like to grow this small part of my collection and welcome any suggestions to look up or even buy.
