The Last Nova, aka The Novarine. I really liked this Annihilation 2099 Story which came out of Issue #1. A near dead Logan, missing a limb, came upon the Nova Corps. The Nova Corps attempted to save Logan by infusing The Nova Force into Logan at the cellular level. The procedure works, creating a Nova Powered Wolverine. Sadly, the Nova Corps are wiped out shortly after, leaving Wolverine as the Last Nova, aka The Novarine.
