A simplistic and vaguely sexy interpretation of the myth of the sirens. We see these creatures in a variety of situations, imaginative and sometimes banally normal, but they can still harbor curiosity. An imminent danger, an embarrassing situation, or an unexpected discovery forces these wonderful, mythological creatures, like the rest of us, to deal with the vicissitudes of everyday life and the problems that come with it. All of my illustrations were created on paper, using mixed media, ink, and Ecoline.
