Captain America Sketchbook

Back in 2001 I decided to start a sketchbook devoted to Captain America. I was working with Tom Palmer at the time and mentioned the project to him and asked if he would consider doing the first piece in the book. Tom asked if it would be okay to do a painted piece and he also offered to buy a sketchpad that contained the paper he preferred to use. Without hesitation, I took Tom up on his kind offer and he christened the sketchbook with an incredible illustration on the first page. Needless to say, Tom set a pretty high bar for other artists to follow. I am presenting the sketchbook in the order that folks have drawn in the book; I've only gotten five pieces so far, but am hoping to add more in the future!
