Byrne, John - Personal Bound Volume of X-Men Comics (Giant Sized X-Men # 1 and Men #'s 94-102)

Today (July 6, 2026) is John Byrne's 76th birthday and I wanted to post something special of his to mark the occasion. This gallery features scans of the endpapers of John Byrne's personal bound copies of Giant Sized X-Men # 1 and X-Men #'s 94-102. These books were JB's reference material when he began drawing his epic run on X-Men. He added detailed hand-drawn pencil and ink illustrations to the endpapers when he sold this volume to my dear friend Wayne Osborne back in 2006. Wayne left the hobby and when he did so, he allowed me to become the new caretaker of this piece of comic history.
