Ryan Sook
I discovered Ryan right around the time that he was finishing up his committments on Buffy and was starting to work with Mike Mignola on BPRD. I felt he had a really good sense of layout and design, even if his overall skill hadn't really had a chance to mature at that point. Then he started working on Spectre and I was hooked! After Spectre came Arkham Aslyum (during his Kevin Nowlan phase), Hawkman, Zatanna, and most recently X-Factor (some interiors, but mostly covers lately). Ryan's work is wonderful, constantly in a state of flux (in a good way), and he's always reaching for new heights. Nothing like seeing a future master going through his gestation stage! :D
