One of the best artists to ever work in comics, but we really only saw a fraction of what he could do. I wish he had done less breakdowns and more finished art... his paintings are beautiful, too! Maybe some day there'll be an art book that does his talent justice. This was a fragment I picked up 6 or 7 years ago showing the virtuosity of this master illustrator's pencil and brush.
