TOTH ALEX

Alex Toth was a genius.His constant search for the clearest storytelling and the most economic,though very precise, line lead him to artistic heights never reached before.And his understanding of movement,designs,shadows and light is still studied by every new generation of artists worldwide.He was probably one of the older masters(before Kirby,Eisner,Steranko or Buscema) I recognized and appreciated at an early age through horror reprints in french. I really savored those he illustrated,incounsiously setting his work appart from the other artists in terms of quality.I have a deep love and respect for his art.
