Gene Day was at my very first convention. Maplecon #1 back in mid 70's. I knew nothing about him or his brothers (Dave was yet to be published). But they were friendly, easy going guys. It was always a pleasure to see Gene at the later conventions, dindt seem the same with out him. I've enjoyed their work every since. Dave
