Nearly every writer and artist I know was profoundly affected by the events of September 11 and created a work shortly thereafter in reference to that chilling day, a testimony I believe in the healing power of Art. I drew this the Thursday after it happened while listening to Berlioz's Requiem broadcast on NPR as part of the natioal day of mourning.
