Description

Nearly every writer and artist I know was profoundly affected by the events of September 11 and created a work shortly thereafter in reference to that chilling day, a testimony I believe in the healing power of Art. I drew this the Thursday after it happened while listening to Berlioz's Requiem broadcast on NPR as part of the natioal day of mourning. Prints availlable $10 ea.

This is beautiful and really showcases how I felt on that day. I was in high school in Jamaica, Queens NY. I saw it collapse from a distance. That is cemented into my soul.
