Jim Rugg -- Brother Voodoo
Jim's quite talented and a super-nice guy. I discovered Jim and Brian's work on Street Angel, which is a really great series. Marvel paid Jim for this whacked-out 4-page BROTHER VOODOO story (which he co-wrote with Brian Maruca), but unfortunately the House of Ideas didn't intend on publishing it so it sat around for a while. Cut to: September 2009 -- Marvel published the story, with some minor changes, in their Strange Tales mini series in issue #2, Marvel’s anthology of Marvel’s greatest heroes as drawn by indie comics’ greatest stars. The pages are large, 19 x 24, with an art area of 12 x 18.
